Watercolor Sneak Peak!
I am so excited about my newest design venture! I love watercolor paintings and while I can’t say that I will ever be opening any art galleries, I can say that the watercolor invitations sets are quickly becoming my new favorite invitations. Even though the watercolor designs won’t be available for purchase until their unveiling at my next Bridal Show, I am just so excited about them I had to give you a sneak peak of the designs I was working on today.
Today I worked on the ‘Pretty in Pink’ invitation. I started by painting the watercolor design, keeping in mind the texture and light-airy-ness I wanted this particular invitation to have. I then scanned my painting and inserted the text. I absolutely LOVE my newest script font (I think it worked perfectly with the pink watercolors).
I can’t wait until the Unveiled Bridal Show on April 15th, where these and my other watercolor designs will be on grand display. Stop by and let me know what you think!
Seriously! How awesome is this font?
Program Samples
Today I spent the afternoon assembling custom samples for a bridal magazine. I am super excited about the possibility of one of my designs being featured in print. Keep watching I will be updating as to whether they make it to press! Check out the original designs in our shop!
What’s Printing Today…
These past few weeks seem to be all about place cards. From orders of twenty to two hundred place cards seems to be the majority of what I have peen printing lately. Silver Lining seems to be the most popular, with the variations of color and fonts. It’s understandable too, since it has clean lines and is layered with a card stock that can easily be customized to any wedding colors.
