Unveiled Bridal Show!

Yesterday I spent the day in Westminster at the Unveiled Bridal Show. It was awesome…we had such a great time and met so many new vendors and some great brides! Also on display for the first time (and on sale tomorrow) was our new Hand-painted Water Color stationery.

Watercolor Sneak Peak!

I am so excited about my newest design venture! I love watercolor paintings and while I can’t say that I will ever be opening any art galleries, I can say that the watercolor invitations sets are quickly becoming my new favorite invitations. Even though the watercolor designs won’t be available for purchase until their unveiling at my next Bridal Show, I am just so excited about them I had to give you a sneak peak of the designs I was working on today.

Today I worked on the ‘Pretty in Pink’ invitation. I started by painting the watercolor design, keeping in mind the texture and light-airy-ness I wanted this particular invitation to have. I then scanned my painting and inserted the text. I absolutely LOVE my newest script font (I think it worked perfectly with the pink watercolors).

I can’t wait until the Unveiled Bridal Show on April 15th, where these and my other watercolor designs will be on grand display. Stop by and let me know what you think!

Seriously! How awesome is this font?

Modern Calligraphy Wedding Invitation Suite

I have been wanting to design a wedding suite with a modern twist to the classic calligraphy style. I used a simple white textured heavy card stock for the paper, applied a simple calligraphy font and added extra little flourishes to a few letters to give it a victorian feel. I kept the color palette a simple charcoal and gray but can see the bride and grooms names in a bright pop of color making them stand out. I love the results, but I tend to be a bit partial.
